Democracy Promotes Flattery and Bribery

A person who is really good will seldom be like by others who hold the key post without having so much of goodness. In democratic set up, goodness of a person is measured by crowd of illiterate persons. Number of good people in such crowd is more often than not, ineffective, nominal and negligible.

Persons like Rabri Devi could become Chief Minister of Bihar state or person like Madhu Koda could Chief Minister of Jharkhand only because good people could say nothing against the system, against electoral system and against the principles of democracy.

Bad men do not like good persons because they like to continue to hold good position which otherwise is meant for good people. Good persons also do not like to accept the goodness of others who could put a threat to their position by dint of higher amount of goodness.

Media also play effective role in continuance of bad person in powerful position because bad men can be managed to fulfill self interest easily. Persons like T N Sheshan , ex -Election Commissioner of India or Binod Roy CAG cannot be managed by offering crores of rupees or by offering elevation in post.

This is why person like Pranab Mukherjee, Pratibha Patil , Gyani Zail Singh are  given preference for the post of President of India and persons like Dr. Abdul Kalam and Mr. Narayan Murthy are rejected by political parties who are always busy in ensuring the future of their own individual power or for the power of the political party they are associated with. 

Person like Mamta Banerjee are very few who dare speak the truth and who always think for the betterment of common men and for the image of the country.

Person like Pranab, Manmohan Singh who damaged the economy to the worst extent possible are picked up for the post of Prime Ministers of India or President of India whereas Person like Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar who gave the best GDP growth in their respective states are criticized by media and a crowd of bad men holding powerful post in the country.

This is not only the real story of Indian politics. This happens in all offices, organizations, association and even charitable trust. A bad man with backing of powerful person is not punished but a good man without backing of anyone is made scapegoat for all evil works of bad men. A bad men with recommendation of some God Father is picked for promotion and for good posting whereas a good performer is sidelined to remote places if he or she has got no backing of any powerful person.

Flattery and bribery is the key of success in all fields of life. Policies, principles, morals and ethics all are meant for books only and for preaching the sermons to others only.In the name of democracy , secularism and Parliamentary democracy , leaders of our country do not hesitate in indulging in character assassination of patriots and good performers.

A political party who allowed Sikh Riot for a week in the country in 1984 is not treated as communal but a person like Narendra Modi who did his best to stop riot which erupted after Godhra case is condemned as communal. Person like Narendra Modi who did not allow any riot to take place in the state of Gujarat during his ten years of rule is willfully , strategically and with a a conspiracy mind condemned as non secular whereas leaders of Congress Party who master minded a lot of riot in the past are treated as secular.

Media is master in character assassination of any person which they dislike or for which they are paid. Media has the capacity to make or mar the career of any person. It is media which can add fuel to fire if they want full destruction and it is they who can sprinkle water on any fire which they think can burn their self interest, not to speak of or dream of national interest.

It is unfortunate that most of media men to fulfill their self interest and their self ego sacrifice the interest of the country to create a false propaganda in favour of such a person who did nothing good for the country and who only caused loss to the country and whose action always tarnished the image of the country.

As such, it is not astonishing that rating of India is being downgraded by all rating agencies despite ruled by veteran and reputed economist like Manmohan ‘Singh, Pranab Mukherjee, Chidambram , Montek Singh Ahulwalia, and so many other scholars in economics and in administration who decorated key posts of RBI and Ministry of Finance..

It is bad luck for common men that their leaders who always talk of welfare of common men are really master in art of earning wealth by exploiting the interest of common men.
